Radius for Pi
Radius is more than a token gateway.
It creates a batteries-included version of Pi through model access, routing, billing, delegated credentials, and account-backed tools.
What Radius can do
- The only Pi-native gateway - top up credits and make requests across providers
- Apply auto-model to automatically be routed to the best model for the task, while maintaining cache efficiency
- Use rewrite rules for tool outputs to maximize token efficiency
- Let your organization manage upstream provider keys centrally
- Delegate Google Workspace access to Pi
- Power account-backed tools like web search, web fetch, and image generation
- Record usage, budgets, top-ups, and shareable session analytics in one place
Pi extensions
To get the full Radius experience in Pi, install the Radius package:
pi install npm:@earendil-works/radius-pi
This package is the easiest way to enable Radius-specific commands and integrations in Pi.
See Extensions for install details, feature breakdown, and config guidance.
Billing note
Some Radius-backed tools consume your Radius account credits.
In particular, web tools like search and fetch are currently charged to the account that runs them. We use the Parallel API.
Image generation also consumes tokens, natively if your provider of choice supports image generation, otherwise via OpenRouter with Gemini 2.5 flash as a default, though you can pick your preferred model.
How to get started
You can either create your account via the website's sign up flow, or via the Radius extension (see extensions.md).
